ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
 

Call for Abstracts
ICOEH 2019 invites submission of abstracts describing the status, gaps and needs in Occupational and Environmental Health in all the theme areas of the conference. The papers can be submitted for oral and /or poster presentations. All abstracts will be evaluated on the basis of scientific merit by peer review. Preference will be given to those submissions that address a substantive issue by integrating across different areas of topics listed below. The ICOEH Scientific Committee will make decisions regarding acceptance/rejection of the submitted abstracts.

Deadline for Receipt of Abstracts
Submissions must be sent electronically and no later than 11:59 P.M. IST on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, to be considered for inclusion in the conference program. Please review the submission instructions carefully.

All presenters are expected to register and pay the requisite registration fees for the conference. Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be e-mailed to the corresponding authors by November 30, 2018.

Abstract Submission
To use the online submission system, you must first register. A registration link is placed on the home page or click here to register. On the registration page, you will be required to fill in your basic contact information and other details. Your email id (provided by you) will be used as your unique registration login ID for the registered name. Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk (*). Upon successful registration, an email will be sent to your registered email id to activate your account. After activation, the link for submission of abstract will appear on your screen.

If you want to submit abstract on another time (before abstract submission deadline), you will be required this login id & password for online submission of your abstract on abstract submission page.

After successful activation of your registration, you will be provided with the link to abstract submission page. You can submit maximum of three (3) abstracts under one registered Id. You are expected to follow the given format for abstract writing as given on the abstract submission page.

Presentation Formats
The following are presentation formats for ICOEH.

⇒ Oral Presentation
Abstracts that are submitted for oral presentation or the abstracts selected by the scientific committed for oral presentations.
The time provided for the oral presentations will be approximately 10 minutes each. Please note that time constraints limit the opportunity for lengthy oral presentations.

⇒ Poster Presentation
Abstracts that are submitted for poster presentation or the abstracts selected by the scientific committed for poster presentations. If the scientific committee considers the submitted abstract (opted for the poster presentation) is significant for the participants at large, they can invite the presenter for oral presentation (if author agrees).

Poster presentation allow presenters to discuss their research with interested colleagues over a period of 90-120 minutes in an informal setting to maximize exchange of ideas, results and to promote communication among researchers with common interests.
