The Asian Network for the Rights Of Occupational and Environmental Victims (ANROEV) is a coalition of victims’ groups, trade unions and other labour groups across Asia, all committed to the rights of Victims and for overall improvement of health and safety at the workplace. ANROEV was formally constituted in 1997 and now has members from 14 Asian Countries and Territories.
ANROEV is a unique solidarity group, which works towards making Asian workplaces safe. It combines the OSH rights struggle in different Asian countries into a one united struggle and demands better health and safety for the workers across the region. It also provides members a platform to share their experiences, resources, and expertise; run joint campaigns; and strengthen the OSH movement in Asia.
Construction Association of Bhutan (CAB)
History:
The Construction Association of Bhutan (CAB) was established in 2000 as the national representative body for Bhutan’s construction industry. Over the past two and a half decades, CAB has been committed to promoting professional standards, capacity building, and ethical practices within the sector. The association serves as a platform for contractors and construction professionals to collaborate, advocate, and contribute to the sustainable development of Bhutan’s built environment. CAB has also played a key role in facilitating training, knowledge exchange, and engagement with government and private sector stakeholders, ensuring that Bhutan’s construction industry aligns with international best practices while addressing local development priorities.
Vision:
To foster the growth of the member contractors to achieve excellence and become world class providers of all services in the construction sector
Mission:
To develop and promote the Bhutanese construction industry and to represent the Bhutanese construction industry at national, regional and international level.
PiC specialises IN promoting rights-based partnerships by bringing stakeholders from government, business, NGOs and the community together in order to address pressing issues on business and human rights.
