Dr. Lim Jac Fang has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Delhi. Currently, he is the Health Officer of Papar District, Department of Health, Sabah. Prior to this, he was the head of the Occupational & Environmental Health Unit, Department of Health, Sabah, Malaysia. He obtained his post-graduate degree in Occupational Health from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2000 and is registered with the Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOSH), Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia as an Occupational Health Doctor (OHD). He is also a Certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA), Auditor OHSAS 18001 and EMS 14001. Apart from that, he is a member of Global Occupational Health Network, WHO, member of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Malaysia as well as a Fellow of the Academy Occupational Environmental Medicine Malaysia (FAOEMM). In addition to presenting papers at local forums and conferences, Dr. Lim had also contributed numerous articles for various bulletins as well as journal publications.
